We are the Gaited Horse Congress, a group specifically for all ambling horses in the HARPG world.

What's a gaited horse?

We breed, show, and collect art of these fantastic, smooth movin', and of course, gorgeously colored gems. Everything you need to know is below, in our journals, we hope you'll join us!

All of these gait journals are so, so helpful!  Thank you so much.  I imagine loads of research went into it, and I certainly appreciate it.
Thank you! I did a lot of digging so hopefully I'm not missing anything major XD

I've been meaning to add links to videos for a while now, I thought it would help visual learners like myself :D
    Two questions!

Is this group pretty active? And, do you allow Morgans?
Hey there! Glad to see you're interested in our group n.n

It's hard to describe this group's activity XD I try to keep it everything running smoothly from the administrative end and also host a couple group events/shows every year. The number of submissions we get varies a lot because we depend on our members producing new art of their gaited guys and gals :)

Our main focus is collecting a studbook of gaited horses and helping our members find shows. But we also welcome all artwork submissions if you want to show of your show entries and other artwork!

Any horse of any breed that gaits is allowed- so if your Morgan ambles, he/she is absolutely welcome! Check out this journal on How To Register a Horse
Thank you for including For Tricks And Giggles by angry-horse-for-life  in your featured folder
Hey there, I made a new breed (Foxblood-Registry) that's gaited. Is it allowed here despite being fictional? And if so, do I need to get the breed itself "registered" with the group somehow or can I just register my horses of that breed?
We'd love to have your horses in our group! HAPRG-GHC is open to all breeds, real or fictional. Just be sure each reference you submit lists the gait they perform so we know that they are gaited! :D

You don't need to do anything special, just submit as normal and we'll add a subsection for your breed to the registry listing :)

    Thank you!
